Grommet Top Insulated Curtains
Energy Efficient Grommet Top Insulated Curtains have many nice features: they look great, they slide easily on the rod, and they allow to use multiple panels on wide windows or sliding glass doors without having slots in between. In the picture you can see how one Grommet panel goes over the next one having a nice fit, and providing good thermal insulation and privacy for your home.
In order for the ends to look the same you will need to do this on one of the ends that is turned toward you. Insert rod up to the last two grommets (photo #1A),
Turn first grommet toward the back (photo #1B),
Feed the rod through the first grommet and slide second grommet on to the rod (photo #1C).
The ease of sliding grommet curtains on the rod depends on the difference in diameter of the grommets and diameter of the curtains rod you use. The bigger the difference, the easier they slide. Make sure the difference is at least 1 inch. If it is just 0.5 inches, you will experience difficulty in moving them on the rod.
In winter or in colder climate Insulated Grommet panels reduce cold from the windows. In summer or in hot climate thermal curtains help keep the cool air in and the hot air out by minimizing the sun heat coming through the windows due to the second layer of fabric they have. We offer exquisite grommet top curtain panels, which are Thermalogic™ Insulated: Weathermate, Trellis; Blackout Insulated Nantucket; Insulated Semi-Sheer Rhapsody Lined ThermaVoile styles, and many more.
CAUTION: Grommet panels have maximum width they can stretch to, which is about 20% less then their actual width! It happends because grommets on the rod prevent the curtains from stretching fully. Maximum width is mentioned on every product description page.
Elegant Thermal Grommet Top window curtains provide a beautiful way to show your decorative curtain rods.
We offer a variety of solid colors as well as patterns like trellis, floral, medallion, etc. in thermal insulated grommet top panels.
