Therefore, the rendition of colors by computers may be slightly different between computers.  To be absolutely sure of a color of a curtain, it is necessary to have a fabric color swatch.  We offer free fabric swatches of almost all thermal insulated (excluding Astonish new style) curtains for all customers who request them.  We only charge a small shipping and handling fee.

When an order of curtain products of the same color fabric goes into production, those products are made from the same bolt of fabric. Different bolts of fabrics of the same color may have subtle color differences because of new die lot used by fabric manufacturers in every new bolt. No fabric is kept in our factory to guarantee a match up a color shade to previous orders. So if you by any chance decide to order curtains for the same room separately, there is a chance that the color of your second order will not perfectly match the color of the curtain products from you first order, though they will be close. Some people do not care or notice the difference in those color shades, but there are others who are concerned about perfect match of colors. Thus a wise move is this: while planning to acquire curtains for the same room, it is advisable to order them all together to be sure that their color matches perfectly.

It is advisable for you to decide beforehand how much light you want to be blocked by the curtains (thus making your room darker) and /or how much of the light you want to go through, which will make your room lighter, when the drapes are closed.

Several tips about light blocking/penetrating ability different thermal non-blackout curtains have, or how they block/let light go through. The rule of thumb is: the darker color of the curtains, the more light they block and the darker they will make your room. And on the contrary, the lighter color of the curtains, the more light they allow to go through and the lighter they will make your room.

What are the advantages of insulation?
Thermal insulated curtains will not only keep your home warmer in the winter. They may also reduce the need for heating, keep the heating system in good working order (because it will not be running continuously), and improve the comfort of your home.

Let us look at the main advantages:
They cut back on heating costs.
Because the thermal insulated curtains on a blackout rod will keep the house warmer, you won't need to use the heater as much or as frequently as before. This is why these curtains are popular in hotels. They are more durable and consume less energy.

They provide solace.
Thermal insulated curtains will reduce heat loss from windows by up to 25%. They can also keep the cold chills from the windows at bay, which is appropriate for your level of comfort.

They offer sound insulation.
Not only do thermal insulated curtains prevent heat loss, but they can also keep outside noise out of your home. Even if they cannot provide complete silence, they can help to muffle some of the noise from nearby parks or roads.

What distinguishes blackout curtains from thermal curtains?
Blackout curtains are made of dense/layered fabric that is tightly woven. Suede, velvet, and felt are popular materials. They can also be equipped with a blackout liner for increased efficiency.

The blackout curtains are intended to keep light out of your home, but they can also insulate it by blocking direct sunlight. You should not iron, bleach, or machine wash the blackout curtains because you will permanently damage them.
